(More customer reviews)The poor excuse for an instruction manual provided with the excellent Treo 650 is so "non-user-friendly" (very small, gray type, dense copy) that I bought his book as a "substitute manual"
The book is a readable, inviting, instruction manual. All the information in it is buried somewhere in the supplied (free)factory manual but this book avoid eyestrain and frustration. That was worth it for me.

(More customer reviews)I'll admit it. I'm an early adapter. I try (sometimes unsuccessfully) to wait at least a month before buying the latest toy. I think I managed 3 weeks with my Treo600. So by the time I got this book, I'd had it a good 8 months and I honestly thought I'd figured out all the tricks. Wrongo!
I first skipped here and there - actually, I first looked for my name. [Disclaimer, there is a little sidebar about my using my Treo for mobblogging - the authors posted a request for examples of interesting Treo use and I submitted it. My sidebar is one of the very many from real people who provide great examples.]
But, soon, I gave up and just read the thing from cover to cover. I would read a tip, whip out my Treo and give it a try and go on to the next one. I love learning new stuff.
But, I think the person who is a bit anxious about trying new things and/or a little afraid of their new Treo600 is the person who really really needs this book. It is very easy to follow. Very friendly. Very informative. And a great reference.
