(More customer reviews)With all the technology available today, I get overwhelmed. This book helped me understand what tools are available and how to use these Google tools to my advantage. Without overwhelming me, this book laid out the options in simple, easily readable terms and taught me the basics of what I really need to know to be more productive. Instead of bombarding me with new information, this book focused on teaching me how to make better use of what I already have. For example, it showed me how to be more efficient when checking my email so I don't spend all day sorting through it. The book even offers a "getting started" guide that really helped me put the information to use in my daily life!

Jeff VanDrimmelen's system is a modern day technology fusion of David Allen's "Getting Things Done" (GTD) and a little bit of good old fashioned Steven Covey. Get your own gProductivity system up and going using Google Tasks, Gmail, and Google Calendar and take control of your personal and professional life. Ultimately, this is a book about teaching you how to manage technology, use it to be productive, and get more done with the precious time that we have. The goal is not simply doing more, but controlling technology so we can focus on what's most important to each of us. * Organize your tasks so you only see what you need to do * Learn to spend no more than 30 minutes a day in your email * Set up your gProductivity system using Google tools * Tips and tricks for being productive on your mobile device * Other googlelized technologies that will save you hundreds of hours
