(More customer reviews)First, let me qualify myself. I've been selling on eBay for several years now and attained the level of Gold PowerSeller this past summer. That basically means I average over $10,000 in monthly sales. I bought this book because I attended a session hosted by the author at eBay Live! in June and thoroughly enjoyed it. It covers everything you need to know about setting up your business, equipment needed (whether shoestring budget or optimal setup), finding product at a price you can afford AND make a profit, tools to use, how to price, how to market and tons more. You only need a few of these gems to make a difference, but there are plenty to pick from. It's well written and easy to understand, whether you're a novice or a seasoned eBay pro. What it WON'T do is tell you how to obtain an eBay ID, set up a seller account and that sort of thing. But there are scores of books that tell you that, in addition to the eBay help pages.
This book isn't for the casual eBay seller. If you just want to sell a few things out of your attic instead of holding a garage sale, don't bother. But if you're serious about building an ongoing eBay business, this book is a must-have.
