This book is great in the sense that you don't have to rely on institutions of science, or the voices of sensationalized media in order to realize climate change is a reality. By showing that major corporations like Walmart and Apple, among many, many others, are actively engaged with sustainability and situating themselves with a competitive advantage for the future and simultaneously bolstering profits. While many modern industries remain skeptical of the cries of the coastal nations' leaders, the UN, president Obama, and the countless accredited universities that climate change is real and demands action now, others are planning to profit from it. No longer does the "green revolution" consist of tree huggers and hippies, its an inevitability and capitalists are no longer sitting on the sidelines they're situating themselves to make their fortunes. While Hunter Lovins's book Natural Capitalism (which she wrote with 4 other economists) was a NY Times best seller, this book is an even easier read, FILLED with academic citations, and give the reader insight into to trends the economy has, and is rapidly undergoing, in respect to this green revolution.
