The book is fine, but textbook publishers need to realize teachers assign reading and homework assignments according to page numbers. So when a teacher say complete the assignment on pages 144-145, because they don't list those numbers in the Kindle edition it makes it impossible to do. Other wise it's an excellent textbook that covers the topics well. Unfortunately that one downside makes it extremely difficult to recommend in the Kindle edition.

Business Grammar Builder Review

For those teaching English to businessmen and others, Emmerson's Business Grammar Builder is a highly useful book. I find Emmerson's approach very helpful: each chapter contains
(a)a section explaining the form a particular grammatical structure takes (or in the case of verbs how to go about forming them).
(b)an explanation of how the structured is used (and many examples!)
(c)the time expressions used with the verb form or other information relevant to the grammatical structure
(d)many, many exercises enabling the student to practice and test his or her understanding of what has just been presented.
As usual, my only wish is that I could get the text and exercises in an electronic form WITH the book (which I would not wish to be without) so that I could combine what Emmerson has to say about the grammar with what other excellent authors have said. This would enable me to develop just the resource I need to address the very specific problems my students have with the language.
